The RPC is the first level of local government, providing communities with a democratic voice and a structure for taking community action. Riseley residents elect 9 councillors every 4 years, the last election being in 2019 (uncontested). Meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month (except August) in the Village Hall.
The range of matters dealt with by the Council can be ascertained from the agendas for the meetings which are published prior to each meeting. The public are welcome to attend meetings and to speak before the start and at the end of council business.
The RPC is keen to hear resident’s concerns on local issues and are always open to suggestions on improving the village appearance or village life in general.
All correspondence should be sent to the Clerk to the Council.
